IPTV on Samsung and LG Smart TVs (IBO Player and SmartOne)
Why these TVs need a store app activated by MAC, and the steps to install, activate and add your subscription.
Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs do not run Android apps, so you cannot install IPTV Smarters or TiviMate on them. The solution is an app from the TV's own store, and most of these apps use MAC-based activation: a free trial for a few days, then a one-time or yearly paid activation.

Steps
- Install the app: open the TV store (Samsung Apps / LG Content Store), search for the app name and install it. If it is not listed in your country's store, change the TV region temporarily or pick another app from the table.
- Note the MAC: when the app opens it shows a screen with the
MAC AddressandDevice Key. Take a photo with your phone. - Activate the app: send the photo to us on WhatsApp with the app name, or pay the activation on the app's website directly. After activation the countdown disappears.
- Add the subscription: in the app choose Add Playlist, then Xtream Codes API, and enter the server address, username and password from your subscription message — or paste the M3U link. Some apps let you add the playlist from the activation page on a computer instead of using the remote.
- Reopen the app: channels appear split into Live, Movies and Series.
Common problems
- The app still asks for activation after payment: check that the MAC you sent matches character by character (0 and O get mixed up). Restart the TV.
- Empty list: re-check the Xtream details — the server address must start with
http://and include the port if there is one. - Picture stutters: try a cable instead of Wi-Fi; details in the buffering guide.
App activation is one thing, the server subscription is another. Activation unlocks the player on your TV; the subscription fills it with channels. You need both. Pick a server from the store and tell us your TV model so we can point you to the best app.

Does one activation cover all TVs in the house?
No, the activation is tied to one TV's MAC address. Each TV needs its own activation.
Do older TVs (before 2016) work?
Older TVs may not support the current apps. The safest fix is a small Android box connected over HDMI.
